This song was inspired by two enormously courageous people. Eric Goodman and Kristin Hay. Eric was afflicted with Covid-19 early on in the quarantine and fought hard as his family fearfully watched. His trust in God was so evident as he walked through the season and his health returned.
Kristin lost her husband after her year-long marriage. With a 1 year old son she continues to exhibit strength in a situation that would have crushed most of us. Kristin bravely shows us what it is to trust God in the storm. This is a song born of people who are in a hard season and still find joy and the peace that passes understanding.
